COMMUNITY MEETINGS

A Community Meeting is a space to bring together all the different groups that interact daily at school, namely students, teachers, administrators, maintenance people, kitchen staff, etc., in order to share opinions and discuss concerns that affect our life together. The basic premise is that by communicating and understanding the various points of view, we can grow in civility and create a better environment for all. We will soon have a CM at GI. The day and time will be announced shortly. You, as teachers, can help teaching students about the importance to be tolerant and respect the different points of view. The CM will be successful if we can identify areas for improvement and get everybody’s committment to work on them.
